Q: How can we pay?
A: You can book and pay online here. You may also contact us to book over the phone and save the 6% online booking fee.
Q: Can we book at the last minute?
A: Yes, if we have space, and in that case, there are 2 methods of payment:
1) call us with a credit card payment over the phone, or
2) pay our Driver-Guide in cash as you board our tour van, a credit card is then required to hold and guarantee your seats
Q: What happens if we cancel a reservation?
A: On regular tours, we must have at least 48 hours notice of cancellation prior to the tour in order to get a full refund. Cancellations made the day of the tour and “no shows” are non-refundable. To change or cancel a reservation, please contact Isabelle at 504-398-0365. On private tours, the cancellation penalty is different.
Q: Do you include a tip in the price, and if not, what is a customary?
A: Tip is not included. Usually, a 15 to 20 % gratuity is welcome when the driver/guide meets or exceeds your expectations, and they will!
Q: Do you give any discounts?
A: Yes, we offer a 10% discount to active military personnel
Q: Do you pay travel agents a commission?
A: Yes we pay a commission to travel agents with an I.A.T.A. number after the tour has been taken.
This tour runs when we reach a minimum of 4 people.
Q: What if I have a special need?
A: Please tell us in advance if you have any special needs, car sickness, diet or disability, so we can accommodate you better.
Q: What if it rains? Do you cancel our tour?
A: We never cancel a tour once we confirm it! We go rain or shine unless there is a hurricane or a flood! Normally, our rain events are of a tropical nature. Rain showers are very localized and don’t usually last very long. We have ponchos and golf umbrellas on board for those who forget to bring their own.
Q: Are your vans wheelchair accessible?
A: Our tour vans cannot accommodate wheelchairs, we do not have a lift. We can accommodate those able to use a van seat, who can carry collapsed wheelchairs and walkers. We do not have a lift or ramps or space for open wheelchairs or scooters.
Q: Do we have to walk a lot?
A: Usually very little, it depends on the tour. Contact us if you have mobility issues.
Q: What about car seats/boosters for young kids?
A: You can bring your own, just let us know, or we can provide one if you need us to. We cannot accommodate strollers.
Q: What do we wear, is there a dress code?
A: No, there is no dress code, wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
Q: Where do you pick up?
A: We pick up in New Orleans at any hotel, Bed & Breakfast or select Airbnbs, uptown (close to St. Charles Ave.), in (or close to) the French Quarter, and on the Westbank. We do not pick up by the airport, in New Orleans East, in Slidell, or on the North Shore. On some plantation tours we can pre-arrange a pick up at the La Quinta Hotel at 5900 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie, LA
